Our concert at the Peking University Music School was rearranged. We were supposed to play a joint concert with the University Band. The Director of the Peoples Liberation Army Band heard that we were coming to town and he had heard some of our CD's and he decided that "his" band was going to play the concert with us instead of the University. They were quite entertaining but we certainly played a better concert. This is the first time ever that an American band has played a joint concert with them and to make it even more amazing -- we finished the concert as a joint band, with their Director conducting "Stars and Stripes Forever". We really enjoyed representing America in this concert.
